Under the terms of the transaction, British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (“bcIMC”) will acquire all of the shares in Hayfin Capital Management LLC (“Hayfin”) currently owned by TowerBrook Capital Partners, PSP Investments and the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System. Hayfin’s operations and personnel will maintain intact, and its management and employees will maintain their position as substantive shareholders. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
Hayfin is a European credit platform with €8.2 billion in assets under management.
