On January 25, 2022, Trivest Partners announced it had received a strategic investment from Bonaccord Capital Partners.
Under the terms of the transaction, Bonaccord Capital Partners (“Bonaccord”) acquired a passive minority equity interest in Trivest Partners (“Trivest”). Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bonaccord, based in New York, is a private equity platform specializing in investments in mid-sized private market sponsors.
Trivest, based in Coral Gables, Florida, is a private equity firm focusing on investments in founder-led and family-owned businesses. Trivest has approximately $2.5 billion in assets under management. Berkshire Global Advisors served as exclusive financial advisor to Trivest on the transaction.
