Beacon to Acquire Astor

On June 17, 2025, Beacon Capital Management announced its acquisition of Astor Investment Management.

Beacon Capital Management (“Beacon”) announced, on June 17, 2025, its acquisition Astor Investment Management (“Astor”). Under the terms of the transaction, expected to close in August 2025, Astor’s Chief Investment Officer, Jan Eckstein, will join Beacon as Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Design. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Beacon, based in Dayton, Ohio, is a registered investment advisor offering income planning, investment management, tax planning, healthcare planning and estate and legacy planning services. Beacon has approximately $4 billion in assets under management.

Astor, headquartered in Chicago, is a registered investment advisor offering a range of investment solutions—including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and unified managed accounts—tailored to varying risk tolerances and financial goals. Astor has approximately $1 billion in client assets.
