Beacon Pointe Acquires Waypoint, H&P, Heritage, Jentner, Dubis and Ng

On July 8, 2025, Beacon Pointe Advisors announced its acquisitions of six firms, including Waypoint Wealth Partners, Hart & Patterson Financial Group, Heritage Financial Planning, Jentner Wealth Management, Michael A. Dubis Financial Planning and Ng Wealth Advisors.

Beacon Pointe Advisors (“Beacon Pointe”) announced, on July 8, 2025, its acquisitions of six firms, including Waypoint Wealth Partners (“Waypoint”), Hart & Patterson Financial Group (“H&P”), Heritage Financial Planning (“Heritage”), Jentner Wealth Management (“Jentner”), Michael A. Dubis Financial Planning (“Dubis”) and Ng Wealth Advisors (“Ng”). Under the terms of the transactions, all teams will join Beacon Pointe. Further terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Beacon Pointe, based in Newport Beach, California, is a registered investment advisor that helps clients determine investment goals, establish asset allocation guidelines, evaluate fund performance, screen investment managers for selection and develop strategic financial plans. Beacon Pointe has approximately $47 billion in assets.

Waypoint, based in Mill Valley, California, is a registered investment advisor specializing in customized financial planning. Waypoint manages over $1 billion in client assets. Advisor Growth Strategies advised Waypoint on the deal.

H&P, based in Amherst, Massachusetts, is a registered investment advisor offering diversified asset allocation strategies, evaluation of fund performance, and financial planning services. The firm manages approximately $284 million in client assets. Turkey Hill Management advised H&P on the deal.

Heritage, based in Dallas, is a registered investment advisor offering retirement, insurance, and family planning services. Heritage has approximately $6.2 billion in assets under advisement. DeVoe & Company advised Heritage on the deal.

Jentner, based in Akron, Ohio, is a registered investment advisor offering intergenerational wealth strategy services. Jentner has approximately $600 million in assets.

Dubis, based in Middleton, Wisconsin, is a registered investment advisor offering wealth management, investment consulting and retirement planning services. Dubis has approximately $280 million in assets.

Ng, based in Pleasant Hill, California, is a registered investment advisor specializing in multigenerational financial planning. Ng has approximately $210 million in assets.
