On September 1, 2021, Beacon Pointe Advisors announced that it acquired Rainier Financial Group LLC.
Under the terms of the transaction, Beacon Pointe Advisors (“Beacon Pointe”) acquired Rainier Financial Group LLC (“Rainier”). The deal closed on July 31, 2021. Grant Hartvigson will join Beacon Pointe as Partner and Managing Director, James Simone and Kimberly Arnesen will join as Senior Wealth Advisors, and Lauren Reisenauer will join as a Client Service Associate. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Beacon Pointe, based in Newport Beach, California, is a Registered Investment Advisor firm providing full service financial planning for institutions, defined contribution plans, individuals, and families.
Rainier, based in Seattle, Washington, is a Registered Investment Advisor offering financial planning services, portfolio management for individuals and small businesses and portfolio management for institutional clients. Rainier has approximately $500 million in assets.
