Arrow Global to Acquire Amitra Capital

On May 13, 2024, Arrow Global Group Limited announced that it will acquire Amitra Capital Limited.

Arrow Global Group Limited (“Arrow”) announced on May 13, 2024, that it had acquired Amitra Capital Limited (“Amitra”) from Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (“CPP Investments”). Key management personnel from Amitra will continue to lead the company. CPP Investments will retain its current direct economic interest in all the portfolios managed by Amitra Capital. The acquisition also includes a new five-year servicing agreement between Arrow and CPP Investments. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Arrow, based in London, is a vertically integrated alternative asset manager specializing in European private credit and real estate. As of May 2024, Arrow had over €80 billion in assets under management.

Amitra, based in London, specializes in managing European non-performing loans and real estate investments. As of May 2024, Amitra had over €4.0 billion in assets under management.

CPP Investments, based in Toronto, oversees and invests funds of the Canada Pension Plan on behalf of contributors and beneficiaries. As of March 2024, CPP Investments had $632.3 billion in assets under management.
