On December 19, 2025, Steward Partners announced a minority investment from Ares Credit funds.
Steward Partners (“Steward”) announced, on December 19, 2025, a minority investment from Ares Management through Ares Credit funds (“Ares”). Under the terms of the transaction, Steward secured $475 million in capital from Ares. Steward will retain its strategic directions and day-to-day decision making. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Steward, based in Stamford, Connecticut is a registered investment advisor specializing in wealth management solutions. Steward has approximately $50 billion in client assets. Piper Sandler & Co. served as exclusive financial advisor to Steward on the transaction.
Ares (NYSE: ARES), based in Los Angeles, is a registered investment advisor offering primary and secondary investment solutions in credit, real estate, private equity, and infrastructure assets. Ares has approximately $595 billion in assets under management.
