On March 29, 2011, Apollo Global Management, LLC (NYSE:APO) announced that its initial public offering of 29,757,559 Class A Shares was priced at $19 per share. This represented the top of the announced price range of $17 to $19 per share and an increase in the number of shares originally intended to be sold from 26.3 million shares. Apollo is a global alternative asset manager with over $67 billion of assets under management.
