Anchor Capital to Acquire Portfolio Manager and Assets from Moody Aldrich

On August 16, 2012, Anchor Capital Advisors LLC announced that it had agreed to hire Michael C. Pierre as Senior Vice President and to acquire the client accounts he manages from Moody Aldrich Partners.

On August 16, 2012, Anchor Capital Advisors LLC announced that it had signed a definitive agreement to hire Michael C. Pierre as Senior Vice President from Moody Aldrich Partners LLC and to acquire the client accounts that he manages, which have approximately $505 million in assets under management.  Mr. Pierre will manage Anchor’s Focused Value Strategy , a long-only domestic all-cap equity strategy.  Anchor is an investment advisory firm whose clients include high-net-worth individuals and families, charities, endowments and foundations, and corporate and union pension and profit-sharing plans.  A majority-owned subsidiary of Boston Private Financial Holdings, Inc., Anchor has approximately $6.3 billion in assets under management.  The transaction, which is subject to client consents and closing conditions, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2012.
