Amova to Acquire AHAM

On December 23, 2025, Amova Asset Management announced its agreement to acquire AHAM Asset Management Berhad.

Amova Asset Management (“Amova”) announced, on December 23, 2025, its agreement to acquire AHAM Asset Management Berhad (“AHAM”). Under the terms of the transaction, Amova, which currently holds a 20% stake in AHAM, will acquire all remaining shares and make AHAM a consolidated subsidiary. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Amova, based in Tokyo, is an asset manager offering investment management services to institutional, intermediary, and individual clients. As of September 2025, Amova had approximately $260 billion in assets under management.

AHAM, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is an asset manager serving institutional investors, pension funds, government-linked entities, high-net-worth individuals, and retail clients. As of November 2025, AHAM had approximately €21 billion in assets under management.
