On June 6, 2023, Mercer Global Advisors, Inc. announced a new equity investment partner, Altas Partners.
Under the terms of the transaction, Altas Partners (“Altas”) joined Mercer Global Advisors, Inc. (“Mercer Advisors”) current group of advisors through an equity investment. The transaction is anticipated to be completed by the third quarter of 2023. Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mercer Advisors, based in Denver, is a registered investment adviser that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals and institutional investors. As of April 2023, Mercer Advisors had approximately $48 billion in assets under management. Raymond James served as financial advisor to Mercer Advisors for the transaction.
Altas, based in Toronto, is a private equity firm that focuses on selective investment opportunities in services, specialized industrials, and healthcare. As of June 2023, Atlas had approximately $10 billion in assets under management.
