Actinver Acquires American Express’ Mexican IM Assets

On March 7, 2012, wsj.com reported that Mexico’s Corporacion Actinver SAB (ACTINVR.MX) announced its purchase of the Mexican investment management assets of American Express Co. for an undisclosed amount.

On March 7, 2012, wsj.com reported that Corporacion Actinver SAB (ACTINVR.MX) announced that it had purchased American Express Co.’s Mexican investment management assets for an undisclosed sum.  Actinver is a listed Mexican private bank with approximately MXN 67.56 billion of assets under management.  American Express Bank has approximately MXN 1.21 billion in total assets, including MXN 12.05 billion in deposits in Mexico.  The purchased assets include checking and savings accounts as well as equity distribution products.
