On March 13, 2026, Abacus Global Management announced that it had reached an agreement to acquire a minority equity stake in Manning & Napier.

Abacus Global Management (“Abacus”) announced, on March 13, 2026, that it reached an agreement to acquire a minority equity stake in Manning & Napier (“Manning & Napier”). Under the agreement, Manning & Napier will offer a range of Abacus investment products to its clients and partners. Manning & Napier will maintain its independent operations under the agreement, and the deal is expected to close in Q2 2026 subject to regulatory approvals. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Abacus, based in Orlando, Florida, is a financial services company and alternative asset manager offering personalized financial planning services to its clients. Abacus has approximately $3.6 billion in client assets under management.

Manning & Napier, based in Fairport, New York, is a wealth and asset management firm providing financial solutions and consultation services to its high-net-worth client-base. As of March 2026, Manning & Napier had approximately $18 billion in assets under management. Berkshire Global Advisors acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Manning & Napier in the transaction.
